Every piece passes the same stages in the same order, and is recorded at each station. That is how the thousandth piece leaves the line like the first.

Ten stages. One route. Every piece.

  1. 01

    Material

    Melamine board in 18 and 16 mm and 6 mm MDF, each chosen for its job in the piece.

  2. 02

    Cutting

    On a programmed panel saw, from a cutting plan generated from the design file itself.

  3. 03

    Drilling

    A CNC machine drills every hinge, dowel and cam position from the same digital file.

  4. 04

    Edge processing

    Visible edges are sealed with PVC edge band on the edge bander. No raw edge is left showing.

  5. 05

    Cleaning

    Panels are cleaned of cutting dust and glue residue before they move on.

  6. 06

    Upholstery

    Headboards and upholstered panels are cut from templates drawn in the design and finished in-house.

  7. 07

    Assembly

    Hardware is fitted and sub-assemblies are built where the design calls for it.

  8. 08

    Quality control

    Every piece is scanned at every station and is not packed until it has completed its full route.

  9. 09

    Packaging

    Pieces are packed into numbered cartons, each labelled with what it holds.

  10. 10

    Distribution

    Cartons leave for our dealers, loaded and tracked by scan.

Design to machine
Cutting plans and drilling programs are generated from the design file itself. No dimension is retyped by hand.
A code on every panel
Every piece carries a code that is scanned at each station and shows the fitter where it goes.
Production planning
Work orders, materials and stations run from one system, and the whole floor is visible on one screen.
